Diane is an applied feminist anthropologist with a focus on preventing and responding to violence against women and girls, as well as other forms of GBV. Her research and practice include the role of social norms, policy, and practice in advancing gender equality. She brings to Making Cents more than 30 years of experience in ethnographic and rapid assessment qualitative research and evaluation, gender analysis, and gender integration across sectors. Prior to joining Making Cents, Diane led projects funded by USAID, UN agencies, the World Bank, and U.S. Department of State. She also lived in Uganda, Kenya, Swaziland/eSwatini, and Jamaica, and, worked across Africa, as well as in Europe, East Asia, and parts of the Middle East.
